Class levels
Please check with the instructor that the class is suitable for your level of fitness. If you know of any medical reason that may affect you during exercise, please inform your instructor beforehand.
Booking
Members can pre-book all exercise classes by telephone or in person. Class bookings can only be taken on the day of your selected class. (Reserved places will be re-sold if not collected at least 5 minutes before the start of the class)
What’s available
ABS Express –Gym Workshop
15 minute abs express session that will be lead by the fitness team. The classes take place in the Gym Workshop area: On the stretch and yoga mats in front of the CV Equipment.
Aerobics & Tone
Absolute body conditioning! This class includes 30 mins of aerobics for cardiovascular health and 15 mins strength training to tone the muscles of the body.
Body Blast
A strength and endurance training class where muscle and music collide! Low endurance but high in fun, Body Blast has all of the benefits of traditional weight training and is suitable for just about everybody!
Cardio Pump + Technique
Have you ever wondered if you are getting the most out of your workout? Correctly doing your gym routine is imperative to successfully achieving your personal goals and getting maximum results. Endurance and strength training plus the in-depth instruction to make sure you are performing each exercise correctly.
Cheerobics®
Brings together the high impact and sculpting moves of aerobics, together with the fun of pompoms. Not designed as a regular cheerleading class, Cheerobics® is designed for adults to keep up with their fitness whilst having lots of fun.
Circuit Training
Strength training and a challenging cardio workout all rolled into one. This class makes use of equipment placed into different stations to perform short timed exercises
Core and Conditioning
Tone and firm all muscle groups, whilst working on your core strength (abs & back). This class utilises the Swiss Balls.
Hatha Yoga
A classical Hatha Yoga practise combining postures, proper breathing, meditation and visualisations specifically sequenced to optimise & balance the quality of your energy, body and mind.
Mature Mega Mix/Freestyle Fitness Yoga
You’re never too old to start! A class aimed at the more mature individual to increase flexibility, mobility and strength, combing resistance and aerobic exercise.
Spinning
Indoor Cycling workout comprised of endurance, interval and strength training. The ultimate cardio workout!
Step
A high intensity step class utilizing the latest step choreography and turbo charged combinations for the ultimate step aerobics workout.
Stott Pilates
A contemporary approach to the method pioneered by Joseph Pilates. Pilates is a safe and highly effective low-impact way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body. Suitable for everyone the class offers a complete core workout which in turn leads to a stronger back, correct posture and muscle imbalances.
Total Body Mix
A unique class that will surprise you every week! This is an overall body toning workout.
Vinyasa Yoga
This class focuses on synchronising movement with the breath. Each posture is linked from one to the next to create one long moving meditation. Principles of alignment, breathing, and mindfulness will be taught. Open to all.
Zumba
ZUMBA Fitness is an energy packed dance class for all, where the motivational factor comes from Latin music inspired moves such as Salsa, Samba, Meringue but also Hip- Hop, Belly Dance, Flamenco, and more. This class is a real fun and feel great workout. More of a party then an exercise class!
