Thanks to £20,000 funding from Capital Radio’s Help A London Child and Chelsea FC, more than 1,000 young people were able to try out new sports at UK Fitness Network centres this summer. A partnership between five of London’s leisure trusts, led by Jubilee Hall Trust, delivered more than 600 hours of free activities during the school holidays.
A range of 26 different sports were offered, including everything from basketball to streetdance, and an incredible 57% of participants were girls, with 54% from black or minority ethnic communities.
The Jubilee Hall Trust builds strong healthy communities by promoting the fitness and wellbeing of the individuals within them. We make a measurable difference to the health and lives of people within our communities.
