An Olympic Opportunity

Jubilee Hall Trust’s Chief Executive, Phil Rumbelow, has been lucky enough to secure a place as a London 2012 Gamesmaker volunteer. His role will be as an Event Services Team Leader operating in the Olympic Stadium itself during the Games, at the heart of the action! Phil says:
‘I am passionate about sport and have always been a huge fan of the Olympic Games. As someone born and brought up in South London, I am really excited about the fact that the world’s greatest sporting event is coming to my home city! I am sure that the work won’t be easy, and of course it is unpaid and there is no guarantee that I will get to see any of the events themselves first hand, but just to be involved will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. My real hope is that not only do Team GB do us proud on the medal table, but that we leave a real sporting legacy for all Londoners long after the Games has left town.’
