Nine out of ten Jubilee Hall Trust staff are happy in their work

In their recent Employee Survey, 91% of Jubilee Hall Trust (JHT) staff said that they were happy in the work they do. In addition, three-quarters stated that they felt proud to work for the charity and would recommend it as an employer to friends or family.
The survey is carried out annually on-line and is completed anonymously. Most staff were also satisfied with their pay, training and the way they were managed, and cited free gym membership and interest-free travel loans as their top benefits, with pensions, free membership of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and the cycle to work scheme as important.
One area that didn’t score so highly was the staff rooms, with some employees complaining about the quality of the furniture and cleanliness.
JHT Chief Executive, Phil Rumbelow, said:
‘We view this annual survey as an important way of finding out how our employees feel about working for us, and are delighted with the largely positive results. We regularly benchmark our pay against the rest of the industry, and are always looking at ways to extend the range of staff benefits.
We will shortly be developing an action plan to address any areas of concern, and have already earmarked a budget to improve the staff rooms.’
