Inspirational Chrissie makes an Outstanding Contribution!

We were delighted that Chrissie Mullings-Lewis was a finalist in the Outstanding Contribution category at the prestigious Active Westminster awards held at Porchester Hall on Friday 22nd November. Chrissie has been an inclusive and inspirational personal trainer and exercise teacher for over 35 years at Jubilee Hall Trust, training all sexes and age ranges, as well as those with serious medical conditions. She encourages wellbeing for health and longevity (not just aesthetics), adapts her classes for a range of different abilities and promotes functional fitness for everyone.

There’s a real sense of camaraderie between all those who attend her classes, and she is a passionate fundraiser for those less fortunate than ourselves – in the last year she has organised activities to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, Yemen Crisis Appeal and Comic Relief, and her favourite catchphrase is ‘never give up, never give in!’

Chrissie was recognised at the annual celebration, which was hosted by Sky Sports David Garrido, and attended by the Lord Mayor of Westminster. Awards were presented by Team GB basketball player, Melita Emanuel-Carr and former England football player, Rachel Yankey OBE.
