Jubilee Hall Trust is the latest UK sport and physical activity sector employer to go “all in” with CIMSPA, as a majority of their relevant staff move into membership of the sector’s chartered professional body.
Jubilee Hall Trust has a passionate focus on both friendly service and delivering great value in one of the most expensive parts of the UK, as well as a public profile that punches well above its weight with frequent and effective community outreach work. The trust is also represented on the CIMSPA professional development committee responsible for creating definitive professional standards for all job roles in leisure operations.
This week the trust reached an important milestone in their CIMSPA employer partnership – supporting the transfer of all of their relevant staff into membership as part of a single recruitment drive. The membership drive encompasses all levels of the organisation – from managers through to the receptionists who are key parts of the trust’s public face – with staff joining at affiliate, practitioner or member level. For Jubilee Hall’s exercise and fitness professionals there is the added bonus of a listing on the CIMSPA exercise and fitness directory
Speaking about the membership drive, CIMSPA chartered fellow and Jubilee Hall Trust CEO Phil Rumbelow said:
”We’ve been supporters of CIMSPA since its inception as it is critical that we have one single professional body for the UK’s sport and physical activity sector. Joining all of our staff to CIMSPA will give them a range of outstanding benefits, but most importantly a clear career pathway and the opportunity to aspire to chartered status.”
CIMSPA’s CEO Tara Dillon added:
“I’d like to thank Jubilee Hall Trust for this membership drive – following through on the commitment they have made as employer partners to contribute to the sector’s workforce improvement project. We’re working hard to create quality personal development pathways and CPD opportunities for the benefit of their team. The trust are a standout example of how employers of all sizes in the sector can directly influence our work and leverage a CIMSPA employer partnership into business-friendly positive change.”
